Costs of Treatment

Do Skyline clinicians take insurance?

Our clinicians are in-network with some major insurance plans and can bill those insurance companies for the costs of a client's therapy sessions or assessments. If a client is not with an insurance company that we are in-network with, they will be asked to pay for their sessions on the day that they are seen and will be provided with documentation to submit to their insurance company for reimbursement. See the below sections to learn more about out-of-network costs.

At this time, Dr. Noel Shadowen is in-network with Aetna and Quest Behavioral Health and Dr. Lindsay Anmuth is in-network with Aetna and Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield (note: this unfortunately does not include Independence Blue Cross).

What are "out-of-network" costs and who are "out-of-network" providers?

For all insurance plans other than Aetna, Quest, and Highmark BCBS, Skyline Psychotherapy & Assessment Services, PLLC psychologists are considered "out-of-network providers," which means that we do not receive payment from any other insurance companies. If we are out-of-network with their insurance companies, our clients are billed directly for their services and then provided with documentation that they might need to submit to their insurance companies for potential reimbursement. Our admin assistant can verify clients' insurance benefits and provide information about their reimbursement policies but clients are always recommended to call the number on the back of their card to verify themselves, as well.
